UnArmed in Southern California

Christmas at Disneyland

I have been away for a while and unable to update. This is will change immediately.  I have been in Southern California for the last week.  I get to go home  back East in Two days.  I have seen crime and many car accidents, and gangs  while I have been here.  Which is an issue because I also am completely unarmed. Because California.

The Set of The Big Bang Theory at Warner Brother’s Lot

Just because I am pro gun guy doesn’t mean I don’t do tourist stuff.  I did not work over the weekend,so on Saturday I went to Disneyland and yesterday I took the Warner Brother’s Studio Tour.  I could have easier have brought a concealed weapon to Disneyland.  They only check bags.  If lived here and had a permit, I would have concealed carried at Disneyland. Warner Brother Studio had a mental detector though. That would have been a no-go.

The chart that proves the gun banners are wrong

Freddy’s Note:
I saw this chart on the all over the internet today and I just had to re-blog it.  This chart put together with data from the Center for Disease Control is the best thing I have every seen in arguing against the gun banners and more gun laws and also against climate change.

COD

What you’ll see is that America has been whipping infectious diseases for over a century, thanks to better sterilization, sanitation, and vaccination techniques, and now, Americans are living nearly twice as long. Currently, the average age is around 79 years old, and back in 1900, it was about 47 years old. Some “crisis” we have on our hands.
But it’s what you don’t see on this chart that is really the story. Natural disaster and extreme weather-related deaths don’t even make the chart.

In light of the federal government’s drive to enforce stricter environmental regulations for the reason of combatting man-made “climate change,” it should be said that 98% fewer people are dying from extreme weather events or natural disasters than in the 1920s. Extreme weather events currently comprise about 0.07% of all fatalities globally.

We’re also being told about the danger posed by law-abiding citizens possessing firearms. But where is that threat on this chart? Let me help you: It’s not there. Deaths from firearms totalled 31,672 in 2010 (just to keep the comparisons apples to apples). In that year, around 19,392 of those deaths were from firearms-related suicides (half of all suicides).
What about accidents? Around 570 of those were from firearms of a total of 126,100 accidents. Firearms murders, mostly by handgun, came to about 8,775 counts (of 12,996 total murders) in 2010, according to FBI statistics.

Where does this put these in the big picture? Deaths from heart disease in 2010 were 595,444 total, while deaths from cancer were 573,855. One factor for such high rates to keep in mind is that Americans are dying from causes that strike those who live longer than human beings ever did.

Since we live in a nation where many don’t get enough exercise and many eat a lot of fatty foods, a lot of people are dying from not moving around enough and/or eating too much food. Want to talk about “first world problems.”

There’s been hysteria about guns, natural disasters, non-organic foods, vaccinations, SARS (oh wait, that was a few years ago), pig flu (off again, shoot), killer bees, hysteria about hysteria – it has been getting really ugly out there.

We would never accuse bureaucrats or the media of drumming up public paranoia just for more taxpayer bucks or to boost political authority. Let’s just say their “awareness raising” lacks context.

Freddy Ramone Editorial : Actual Stats of Mass Shootings Vs Press Coverage of Mass Shootings

12-massshootingsnew.w1120.h1472

The liberals and the liberal press are shouting “We have a Gun Violence Epidemic”. Mass Shootings are increasing at an alarming rate.  It is simple not true.  What has increased is the amount of press coverage that all these liberal media outlets hit us with. They go over the details over and over and over again.  The press coverage of these mass shootings is what causes more unhappy youth to head towards committing mass murder as a way to get famous.  Blame the NRA, Blame the Guns, No Blame the media.

Pinocchio Bloomberg and Pinocchio Watts lie again and get caught by CNN

ImageFreddy’s Note:
It is a good thing that “Michael “Adolph” Bloomberg and his Minister of Propaganda, Shannon “Eva Braun” Watts are the most incompetent liars on the planet.  Every time Bloomberg’s groups make some sort of large anti-gun statement, they are later proven to have lied and made stuff up.  For Example: this week they said there has been 74 school shootings since Sandy Hook. After originally believing these stats from the Bloomberg elves, CNN looked at the data had to issue a correction. Because in real life there have been only 14, not 74 school shootings in this time period.  Are we the pro-gun movement beating Furor Bloomberg and his propaganda machine, or are we just watching Bloomberg beat himself over and over again. Either way, we are winning. Bloomberg’s goal is to ban all the guns except for the ones that his security teams have.  Not only is he a liar, but he is a hypocrite as well.

CNN issues of Retraction
CNN has drastically revised a claim it made, which was based on a graphical map from a pro-gun control group, which purportedly showed that 74 school shootings have occurred in the U.S. since the Sandy Hook massacre in Dec. 2012.

The news outlet circulated the graphical map, which came from the group Everytown for Gun Safety, after a shooting that occurred Tuesday at a high school in Oregon which left two dead, including the 15 year-old gunman.

Everytown for Gun Safety, which is backed by former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, headlined their graphic “School Shootings in America Since Sandy Hook,” suggesting that the shootings it listed had a link of some kind to Sandy Hook — in which Adam Lanza killed 26 people at an elementary school.

CNN and various other media outlets used the graphic in news segments.

“So on Wednesday, CNN took a closer look at the list, delving into the circumstances of each incident Everytown included,” reads CNN’s report.

It acknowledged that many of the shootings listed by Everytown did not fit the profile of a Sandy Hook-type shooting, in which the attacks are seemingly random.

Instead, CNN said, “some of the other incidents on Everytown’s list included personal arguments, accidents and alleged gang activities and drug deals

Harry Reid lives a fantasy World. He is a complete Moron

Harry Reid wants GUN Registration and Unversial Background Checks

Unless Piece of Shit Harry Reid

Useless Piece of Shit Harry Reid

Freddy’s Note:
Why do morons like Harry Reid think that Universal Background Checks will stop all gun crime on the planet?  Hey Harry, I know that you are one of the biggest idiots on the planet, but one last time.  CRIMINALS DON’T BUY GUNS FROM GUN STORES.  They steal them or they have someone act as a straw buyer.  Universal Background checks will never deter criminals.

And course, you can’t have universal gun background checks without mandatory gun registration.  Once again, can the liberals read or understand English?  Did they see how the large majority of gun owners in New York and CT refused to register their guns.

Do you think gun owners are going to register then guns?  No problem for Harry, they will send the militarized police to stop invade every gun owner’s house in a no-knock raids. Gun owners will be shot resisting (meaning objecting to armed people in their house.

So is that the end game Harry?

  • 1) Register all Guns
  • 2) Kill all those that do not register
  • 3) Keep doing #2 until everyone registers guns
  • 4) Take all the guns

This is the full story

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid challenged lawmakers on Capitol Hill Monday to expand mandates on background checks for guns, citing the recent murder of two police officers and a concealed-carry permit holder in Las Vegas.

Reid, senior Senator of Nevada’s delegation in that chamber, voiced sadness for the loss of life in the incident, and then called for additional gun control laws.

“We in Congress, we do need to put in place legislation that helps prevent these deranged, these weird, these evil people who carry out such savage acts of violence,” said Reid Monday.

The legislative solution proposed by the Senator?

“Background checks so that people who are criminals, who are deranged can’t buy a gun,” explained Reid. “The American people are depending on us to pass legislation to prevent gun violence and safeguard communities, schools, and families.”

According to the senator, future incidents such as the Las Vegas attack could be mitigated by a move to require all firearms transfers, even those between two otherwise law-abiding citizens, be subject to a background check. At least one of the suspected murderers from this weekend’s violence is known to have a criminal record, although it is currently not known how he obtained the weapons used in the ambush.

“A step in the right direction would be universal background checks, so that people who are criminals, who are deranged, can’t buy a gun,” contends Reid.

The Most Successful Gun Ban Group in the United States is Open Carry Texas

These morons are hurting the pro-gun side

These morons are hurting the pro-gun side

Freddy’s Note:
I am as pro-gun as anyone and my ravings on the website prove it.  But I have no patience for the morons, idiots, and drama queens involved in Open Carry Texas and Open Carry Tarrant County.  They so-called pro-gun people have been involved in a series of incidents in Texas that have sent the pro-gun movement back years.  Everything time they bring long guns into a bar, or resterante or a store, they generate tremenoius amount of anti-gun press and almost no pro-gun press.

They make all the gun owners in America look like childish wackjobs that are 10 seconds away from snapping and initiating a mass killing.

The NRA was right to speak out against them. Texas Open Carry responding by posting pictures of their cut up NRA cards.  I say good. The last thing, the NRA needs is the irresponsible, unstable, mental misfits  that make up Texas Open Carry.

Texas Open Carry members claim that if they don’t exercise this right, it will be taken away. WRONG. It will be taken away because they are irresponsibly exercising this right.

Here is an example in my state of New Hampshire.

In NH we could open carry any gun anyway except court houses, schools, and post offices.

They was a anti-gun bill being considered in the NH State Legistature.  So hundreds of gun owners showed up in the NH State House armed to the teeth with handguns, rifles, AKs, AR-15.  So within a week or two, the both NH legislative bodies passed a bill by a wide margin forbidding anyone to carry guns in the state house.

Texas Open Carry is doing more hard to hurt America’s gun owners that Mike Bloomberg and Shannon Watts combined.

NRA tells Texas Open Carry to STOP

The NRA came out this week and told the morons and mental defectives in Texas to stop bringing long guns to their local restaurants and stores.

Texas Open Carry idiots

The fool in the blue checked shirt is also the the previous picture

The following is a quote from the NRA’s statement:

Recently, demonstrators have been showing up in various public places, including coffee shops and fast food restaurants, openly toting a variety of tactical long guns. Unlicensed open carry of handguns is legal in about half the U.S. states, and it is relatively common and uncontroversial in some places.

“Yet while unlicensed open carry of long guns is also typically legal in most places, it is a rare sight to see someone sidle up next to you in line for lunch with a 7.62 rifle slung across his chest, much less a whole gaggle of folks descending on the same public venue with similar arms.

“Let’s not mince words, not only is it rare, it’s downright weird and certainly not a practical way to go normally about your business while being prepared to defend yourself. To those who are not acquainted with the dubious practice of using public displays of firearms as a means to draw attention to oneself or one’s cause, it can be downright scary. It makes folks who might normally be perfectly open-minded about firearms feel uncomfortable and question the motives of pro-gun advocates.

“As a result of these hijinx, two popular fast food outlets have recently requested patrons to keep guns off the premises (more information can be found here and here). In other words, the freedom and goodwill these businesses had previously extended to gun owners has been curtailed because of the actions of an attention-hungry few who thought only of themselves and not of those who might be affected by their behavior. To state the obvious, that’s counterproductive for the gun owning community.”
End quote from NRA

Just be something is legal, it doesn’t mean it should be done.  Texas Open Carry does nothing but generate bad press and convince regular Americans that Gun owners need to be controlled by gun gun laws.

Morons, Psychopaths and Politicians

The killer in his car. Ironically, I own this same car.

After the slaughter is Isla Vista last weekend, all the same anti-gun people are making the same tired old calls for gun control.  Are these people even paying attention?

I will not use the name of the killer, I just will refer to him as the killer.  The killer lived in one of the most strict gun control states in the country, California.  All existing Assault weapons were registered and No New assault weapons are allowed. You can only buy one gun a month.  The killer bought three handguns over a three month period.  He passed 3 background checks. Use used 10 round magazines because only 10 round mags are allowed.  He had 41 10 round mags in his car.

Before he even used his gun, he killed three with a knife and hit a whole bunch of people with his car.

How the hell is this a gun control issue?

The MDA and Bloomberg anti-guns Nazi’s like California.  They want California laws everywhere.  Well this case proves that strict gun control will not prevent these types of shootings. GUN CONTROL DOES NOT WORK.

Various liberals and anti-gun organizations are calling for more gun control laws.  WHY all the laws they want were in EFFECT in CA and they were INEFFECTIVE.  Are these morons that stupid… If you want to actually stop these type of crimes you need to fix the mental health issues in this country.  The shooters from the last several incidents have all passed background checks. FIX THE REAL PROBLEM of mental illness running unchecked in this country.

Also the issue of some of the victims blaming the NRA is just lunacy.. Again, CA has the strict gun laws.  You want someone to blame, blame the killer’s parents for being horrible parents and the police who had interviewed the killer several times in the previous months.

Brady Center Files Lawsuit against Gander Mountain for Selling guns used in a murder

Screen Shot 2014-05-21 at 6.13.29 PM

Brady Center (For banning all guns) is trying to make legal precedent

On 12/24/2012 a criminal ambushed and shot at firefighters from Webster NY who were responding to a fire.

The gunman, who shot himself at the scene, was identified as 62-year-old William Spengler. He was charged in 1980 with beating his 92-year-old grandmother to death with a hammer in her home next door.

Spengler served 17 years in New York State prison on manslaughter charges, police officials said. He was on probation until 2006 and reportedly had lived quietly with his mother, who died in October, and sister at 191 Lake Road, along a sliver of land between Irondequoit Bay and the lake.

The families of two volunteer firefighters killed in the Christmas Eve 2012 shootings in Webster and two survivors of the attack are suing the store that sold the guns used against them.

In addition to Gander Mountain Co., the lawsuit also names Dawn Nguyen, who bought the weapons, and the estate of the shooter, William Spengler Jr., as defendants.

Attorneys working with a national gun control group, the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, announced Tuesday at the law offices of Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP in Rochester that they had filed the suit on the plaintiffs’ behalf.

The Brady Center argues that Gander Mountain, where Nguyen bought the guns in 2010, should have spotted clear signs that she was making a “straw purchase,” meaning that the weapons were intended for someone else.

The warning signs of a straw sale include the purchase of more than one gun at a time, more than one person entering the store together and transactions made in cash, said Alla Lefkowitz, a staff attorney for the Brady Center.

Freddy’s Note:

Let’s take a minute here.  Did the straw buyer pass FBI instant background check … YES.

Is the store required by Federal law to keep track the relationship of people who enter a gun store together  .. NO

Is the store required to ask the buyer… Why do you want these guns or What are you going to do with these guns .. NO

Is the store required users to buy with credit cards  ..NO

Is it against the law to buy more than one rifle … NO ( Although purchases of more than 1 handgun in a 7 day period requires notification be sent to local law enforcement)

It seems to me that short of using Mind Readers to scan for bad intentions of each customer, that Gander Mountain did not do anything wrong in this case.

On the other hand, I have no problem if the straw buyer, Dawn Nguyen is publically executived in the town square.  I support stricter penalties for actual straw buyers.  Some pontential laws against straw buyers have been written so badly that they would put honest gun buyers in jail. If I buy a rifle for my father, and I give it to him, and my father and I are able to own guns, I don’t think that is a straw buy.  There is a police officer in PA that was arrested by the ATF for doing that very same thing last year.

Response from Gander Mountain
In a statement, Gander Mountain expressed sympathy for the shooting victims and their families. But the company said it had been forthcoming with the investigation, that the sale met all legal requirements and that Nguyen intentionally deceived the store.

“Gander Mountain, as a member of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, is renowned for its commitment to safety, its respect for the law and its good standing in the outdoor sporting community,” the statement said. “We will vigorously defend ourselves in this matter.”

Some punk tried to steal one of my cars last night….

car_thief1Someone tried to steal one of my cars last night.  My wife surprised the criminal  in our driveway.  It was really pouring heavy rain last night.  Not the best time to steal a small convertible car.

My wife was going out to her car and there was someone in my little car.  The man in a black hoodie got out of the car and ran up the street.  My wife came back inside and yelled to me.

My son and I grabbed a few guns and went after the punk.  He must have had a partner up up the street in a car. Because we searched the neighbor for a while and couldn’t find anyone

I put the antique car in the garage turned on all the exterior floodlights and we waited to see if they came back.  Unfortunately, the punk did not.  My son was carrying a Beretta and his Colt 1911 and I had my Beretta 92fs and my UZI.

There is a security light out in the driveway that I will be fixing today. I live in a Stand your Ground, and Home is your Castle state. If the guy comes back, he may not get to chance to leave my property again. We will be ready and prepared.

UPDATE:

I was reading the Nashua Telegraph Website today and saw this report. Which was posted shortly after we chased away the car thief.

NASHUA | SHOTS FIRED | CALLER BELIEVES SHOTS MAY HAVE COME FROM BLUE ACURA SEDAN. USE CAUTION IN AREA. | SNHEA1

We were driving around this area looking for the car thief.  I wonder if the Blue Acura had the car thief and his partner in it? Well they may have been armed.  Well, I had my UZI that I built and documented on this web site.  Plus 3 other hand guns between us, I think we could have outgunned them if they had confronted us.

A news outlet asks : Has homeowners using deadly force in Detroit gone to far?

3488099_G

A Detroit TV station is asking if homeowners defending themselves with deadly force gone too far in Detroit.

Detroit is the cesspool of the US, with even the policy chief recently suggesting that people should get concealed carry permits to be able to defend themselves.

Apparently, three cases of homeowners shooting suspected intruders have been reported in the past five weeks.

A local moron named Ron Scott of the Detroit Coalition Against Police Brutality believes in self defense but says these “vigilantees” have gone too far.”Certainly people have a right to defend themselves in their home but they do not have a right to make it a free-fire zone, and the chief, or his spokesperson, should never put that in the minds of people. We must operate not on the basis of fear but on the basis of understanding and how we as a community can come together to stop the violence,” he says.

Ok Ron, So the next time people try to break into your home and rape and muirder your family, I expect you will be meeting these criminals at the door with cookies and beer.

My take on this is simple.

Are their still low life morons trying to break into home and hurt people and steal their stuff?

If YES, then it has not gone too far.

I would guess that 3 dead home invaders in 5 weeks is not enough to deter the criminals of Detroit.  Hey Detroit homeowners, let’s see if you can double or triple that statistic in the next 5 weeks.

How many dead home invaders does it take to get the punks of Detroit to stop invading and breaking into homes?  Let’s find out.
