Morons, Psychopaths and Politicians

The killer in his car. Ironically, I own this same car.

After the slaughter is Isla Vista last weekend, all the same anti-gun people are making the same tired old calls for gun control.  Are these people even paying attention?

I will not use the name of the killer, I just will refer to him as the killer.  The killer lived in one of the most strict gun control states in the country, California.  All existing Assault weapons were registered and No New assault weapons are allowed. You can only buy one gun a month.  The killer bought three handguns over a three month period.  He passed 3 background checks. Use used 10 round magazines because only 10 round mags are allowed.  He had 41 10 round mags in his car.

Before he even used his gun, he killed three with a knife and hit a whole bunch of people with his car.

How the hell is this a gun control issue?

The MDA and Bloomberg anti-guns Nazi’s like California.  They want California laws everywhere.  Well this case proves that strict gun control will not prevent these types of shootings. GUN CONTROL DOES NOT WORK.

Various liberals and anti-gun organizations are calling for more gun control laws.  WHY all the laws they want were in EFFECT in CA and they were INEFFECTIVE.  Are these morons that stupid… If you want to actually stop these type of crimes you need to fix the mental health issues in this country.  The shooters from the last several incidents have all passed background checks. FIX THE REAL PROBLEM of mental illness running unchecked in this country.

Also the issue of some of the victims blaming the NRA is just lunacy.. Again, CA has the strict gun laws.  You want someone to blame, blame the killer’s parents for being horrible parents and the police who had interviewed the killer several times in the previous months.

Obama’s political agenda backfires, gun sales in 2013 smash all records

Image

Freddy’s Note:

We are lucky that Obama is the least effective president of all time.  Everything he does to restrict guns and ammo, just leads to more guns and ammo being sold to the American Public.  There is a saying that Americans Vote with their Wallets. Well there were 21,093,273 background checks for gun sales in 2013.  I think that is a pretty clear message that American’s want guns and they do not agree with Obama’s Ant-gun agenda.

By Emily Miller Washington Times

One year ago this month, President Obama announced that radical gun control was the top of his agenda for his second term. Although he failed to get any of the gun bans or government registrations passed on the federal level, he was successful in one area. His actions convinced millions of Americans to buy more firearms than any time in history.

The FBI reported that it performed an astounding 21,093,273 background checks for the year ending Dec. 31,  In fact, eight of the top 10 highest weeks ever for  National Instant Background Check System (NICS) checks were in 2013 (the other two were during Dec. 2012.)

The checks in 2013 were 8 percent higher than 2012. The one-year increase is significant because the year leading up to the presidential election also saw massive which firearm sales.

Mr. Obama has actually been the best gun salesman in history. NICS checks have gone up a whopping 66 percent since he came to the White House.

“Last year was a record setting year for gun and ammunition sales due to the threat of anti-gun legislation at both the state and federal level,” said Lawrence Keane, general counsel of the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), which represents the industry’s manufacturers.

NSSF also released its own data on Monday which subtracts out the National Instant Background Check System (NICS) checks done for carry permits, which makes it a closer correlation to actual purchases. The NSSF adjusted NICS shows a 2013 year-end figure of 14,796,872.

Why I need a gun : in my Home AK-Special Edition – a continuing series

Freddy’s Note:
Here again, an answer to the question why do you need a gun at home. I really like the fact that he used a ak-47 to defend himself and shoot the bad guys.

Man Shot and Killed in Davie Home Invasion

Two home invasion suspects are on the run and a third was shot and killed by a Davie resident Thursday night, police said.

The incident happened at a home on the 6100 block of Southwest 48th Street, Davie Police spokesman Capt. Dale Engle said.

Three armed men entered the apartment and pistol-whipped the resident inside, police said. He then confronted the suspects.

“The resident of the apartment had possession of an AK-47 and after he received this beating he was able to get possession or control of that, and started shooting at these suspects as they were fleeing,” Engle said.

He received significant injuries but was later released from a hospital, Engle said.

The shooter was also taken in for questioning but has since been released. He is cooperating with detectives, Engle said.

Police have not released the identities of the four men involved, but said they knew each other.

Gun Owners in CT line up to be put on list will lead to their death and loss of guns

Image

Sheep lining up for the future slaugher

The State of CT is now registering guns.  The people in the above photo are lining up to register their guns voluntarily.  These people are cowards and are not worthy of the right to own guns.

Today it’s registration. How long before CT decides that all the guns needed to be taken away from these people, for the safety of the children?

These are the Nazi Storm Troopers of Today

What will Happen Next!

SWAT/Homeland Security/Armed police will raid these peoples homes.  And if course in the process if the people who’s homes are being raided don’t cower fast enough, these SWAT teams will kill everyone at the homes accidentally. The Anti-gun crowd always cries “No one wants your Guns” and they lie. Gun Confiscation is their goal. Guns are already being confiscated in New York and California.  Connecticut will be next.

Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.   Ben Franklin

Why do I carry a gun: To Shovel the Driveway – a continuing series

Street in Greenwich Village New York City where car was stolen

Freddy’s Note:
All of us that carry guns on a daily basis are asked the question many times.  The question is why do you carry a gun to: Blank.  I have been asked… You don’t need a gun to go:

  • Food Shopping
  • the Mall
  • to Church
  • Out to Dinner
  • Outside doing yard work on your own property
  • to Doctor’s Office
  • to Walmart
  • and every other place in the world except the Post Office and a Court House (You can’t carry there)

This series of continuing posts demonstrates the need to carry a gun can arise anywhere that you go. And it is always better to be prepared.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)

A Greenwich Village man clearing snow away from his truck Friday morning was carjacked in broad daylight, police announced.

The snow had stopped falling and it was dead quiet on Christopher Street when the incident occurred just after 9 a.m. There were much fewer people out than on a normal weekday because of the snow.

According to police, a building superintendent was shoveling snow next to his blue Dodge Ram when a man in his 20s appeared and pulled out a gun. He drove off without firing a shot, police said.

The super had the car running when the suspect approached, police said.

A man whose salon window faces the crime scene said he didn’t hear anything, Silverman reported.

“We keep the doors locked. I was sitting in here counting money, ironically enough,” Scott Smith said.

“That’s incredibly concerning,” said Christopher Street resident Adam Masry. “Even in the harshest of weather, I guess people are brazen.”

Police have been circling the historic West Village blocks, but have not yet tracked down the truck or the suspect on a day when it’s not easy to get anywhere fast.

Happy New Year/Year End Review

Image

We had a good year.. well it was only two months ago that I started this blog. Thanks everyone for visiting and commenting on the articles here or on one of the social media’s sites that we publish to.

Gun Owners had a good year for most part unless you live in California, New York or CT. If you live in one of these Police States, then I recommend you move.

The rest of America lost more freedoms as Obama continues to convert Americna into a Police State. Here’s hoping that American’s will wake-up in 2014.

I hope everyone has a Happy and Safe New Year.  If you are going out and not drinking, it might be a good night make sure that you are carrying tonight.  There will probably be many  Drunk maniacs out on New Years Eve. Stay Stafe

USA Today Poll on Banning weapons that Look Like Miltary Style Rifles

done

Looks Like Military UZI but it is not. Just a semi-automatic rifle

My UZI carbine that I built through a series on this site looks like the real original UZI. Except it is semi-automatic and has a longer barrel to adhere to the ATF regulations. It fires a bullet 1 time each time the trigger is pressed, like every other rifle used for sport or hunting or self defense.

There is a poll at USATODAY right now. The question is whether “military style assault weapons” should be banned.

The reality is that Assault weapons, by definition are select fire weapons capable of fully automatic fire.  As such these are already heavily regulated under the NFA and nearly impossible for a “common citizen” to own.

Due to the NFA regulations they cost upwards of $20,000 and require a years worth of legal hoops to acquire.

So, what this poll is really asking is if firearms that “look” like military style assault weapons should be banned.  Because as well all know, the scarier something looks the more dangerous

Everyone should vote for no.

At the time I write this No is at 91%

Proposed Law Would Force Parents to Disclose Gun Ownership to School District

american-guns

Apparently, liberals have a plan to bring an end to school shootings: Make disclosure of firearm ownership mandatory for all families enrolled in public education. There is no reason for this law unless the intention is to discriminate against parents who own guns.  The law says teh parents just have to tell the school district if they own a gun. Not what guns the parents have.  Can you imagine if you had to tell the school district the following:

Dear School System: This is what I currently have. Note; I Buy and Build new guns all the time.

  • 3 AR-15.s
  • 3 different AKs
  • 2 M1 Carbines
  • 1 M14
  • 2 Mosin Nagants
  • 2 Carcanos ( Yes the gun that killed JFK. I can bring it in for history class if you want)
  • 1 Masuser
  • 1 UZI
  • 1 Suomi Kp-31
  • 1 Mp5
  • 7 Tokerevs
  • 5 Makarovs
  • 1 FN-9
  • 1 Walther P1
  • 1 Beretta M9
  • 2 Nagant Pistols
  • 1 Beretta Tomcat
  • and 7 assorted Revolvers

If I had to disclose this, I am sure the local liberals want find some reason that my child couldn’t go to their school.

According to the Missouri Torch:

A  bill in the Missouri Senate would require parents of public school students to report to the school if they own a gun.

Why don’t we just cut right to the chase, and write a law instructing would-be mass-shooters to report their intentions well ahead of time? Or, heck, we could just outlaw the act of killing innocent school children. And I’m sure criminals, owners of illegal weapons, and potentially dangerous sociopaths will be more than happy to follow along with such equally ridiculous legislation. Right?

More than being an egregious violation of personal privacy, the bill highlights the impotence of progressive “solutions” to violence conducted with firearms. Compulsory disclosure of gun ownership provides the authorities with such little actionable or useful information it is almost not worth mentioning.

The Missouri proposal, however, does not call on parents to disclose the specific firearms they own… See, according to Liberals, all guns are evil – and all gun owners merit increased scrutiny and surveillance by authorities. (Wow… And you wonder why people with guns don’t like more gun laws… Weird.)

This act requires a parent or guardian to notify a school district, or the governing body of a private or charter school, that he or she owns a weapon within 30 days of enrolling the child in school or becoming the owner of a weapon. The written notification only needs to include the names of the parent and any child attending the school and the fact that the parent owns a weapon.

Naturally, the question arises: What the heck is this proposal actually supposed to accomplish? Aside from giving schools (read: government) a list of the county’s child-bearing gun owners, actionable intelligence (and almost any other kind of intelligence as well) is non-existent.

More than likely, the bill is a reflection of the increasingly ambitious campaign to de-legitimize gun ownership. After all, it’s not as if it is designed to prevent maniacs from shooting up a school. The good news is that the bill’s author, Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal, has introduced this bill before… And it went no-where. But her ambitions are telling of liberal impotence, and the left’s intrinsic inability to address the fundamental issues facing the nation.

There is no doubt that violence is a real, and tragically too regular, occurrence in the world. And while some schools are deciding to arm resource officers, permit concealed carry, and even hire additional security, the liberal solution is put up more “no guns” signs and ask parents about their personal interest in firearm ownership.

Heck, we should be recruiting gun-owning parents to volunteer (with rifle in hand) as “campus watch” guards. Most parents I know would be happy to guard their child’s life with a gun. But something tells me that’s not what the bill’s sponsor had in mind.

Christmas Story and Vintage Christmas Gun Advertisements

Christmas-story-bb-gun

I already wrote about remember when toy guns where a good Christmas present. .  I have bought my son two real guns over the past two Christmases and he surprised me last year with a gun, but it wasn’t just any gun.

After all the giving of the presents was over last year, my son pulls out a package.   It is rifle shaped.  I open it and it is my father-in-law’s M1A. It was my favorite gun of his. It is the original  SpringField Armory National Match and is one of the early ones, It has a 4 digital serial number 52xx.  My son had bought it from his grandfather for $100 and was giving it to me for Christmas. (His grandfather was getting rid of his guns..He is now unfortunately in a full time care facility and can no longer shoot or even possess his guns)

My 16 year old took it upon himself to convince his grandfather to sell him the gun, paid him $100 of his own money, and then hid the rifle in the trunk of my borrowed car, and drove it home. (Luckily he was not stopped, that could have been a bad incident)

Words failed me. I was so amazed at getting this gun from my son.  Here is the gun:

It is the best gift I have ever received.

Now here are some vintage advertisements about giving a gun for Christmas

Here are some advertisements from the past suggesting that guns are a good president for Christmas. And they are a very nice for Christmas.

Updated: Remember When Toy Guns were a Great Christmas present

Image

Here is a vintage toy gun commerical

My Family

My son is 17. When he was under 10, he would have put this gun on the top of his Christmas list.

Unfortunately now, any kid playing with this in his yard, would be shot by a rogue cop out to kill someone, because he knows he can get away with it.

I bought airsoft guns and we used to shoot them in the backyard. I spent $300 for an AK that looked like a real AK but shot plastic bullets.  He and his friends used to play in the woods behind the house. By the time my son was 11, he was shooting real guns with his Grandfather and Uncle, both are Ex Navy and Police Officers.  I run into the toy guns every now and then in the basement or garage.  Ever since, he fired a real gun, he had no interest in the toys and airsoft.

Now he has his own guns. (It’s legal in my state, for a father or grandfather to give a child under 18 guns. He can’t buy long guns until age 18 and handguns from a dealer until age 21, but he can be given guns. He is an expert marksman with pistol or rifle. He can put 30 rounds into the center ring at 200 yard without a problem.  I can barely see the target at 200 yards these days.

His grandfather gave him Enfield Jungle Carbine  and a Colt Government 1911.  I have given him a Nagant Pistol, and a German Mauser, the over the last two Christmases. This year he wanted something else instead of guns. He still likes guns, he loves the new UZI,

Kids not being allowed to Play

Now a school kid can’t even point his finger at a playmate at recess and say bang without being suspended or arrested by lunatic school administrators.

We are losing part of our heritage when kids can’t play any more. No more cowboys and Indians, because that’s racist. No more playing with guns because of “Zero Tolerance” rules. A 6th grader kisses a girls hand and is labeled a “sex offender”(Happened last week).

The real America is slowly drifting away.  I actually think we are too far gone, and our next generation is doomed.  I hope I am wrong, I really do. But just in case, I have a secure gun room filled with guns and ammo and if needed, I or my son will use it to protect our families when civilization crashes and burns.

If things turn around, then I have a great gun collection that my son can use or sell for a bunch of money.

We win either way.
